A life-changing opportunity
Referrals in the Ambassador program have been recommended to your office by an Ambassador - a former patient of yours.
They have the benefit of knowing someone who has already had a life-changing procedure by your office and dedicated staff.
They have been motivated by their friend/family to earn a chance to win a dream vacation, but have come to your office looking for a life-changing procedure of their own.
How to register Referrals
The staff member MUST register the new Referral in the office via account login online. Follow these basic steps to register new Referral:
| | Schedule an in-office consultation when the Referral RSVPs by phone |
| | Examine the Referral and qualify them for a LASIK procedure |
| | Go online and login to your account (click here) |
| | Navigate to your "Program History" section |
| | Click on the "Register New Referral" link (2nd link on page) |
| | Fill out and submit the online form |
| | Make sure you input the correct 8-digit ID from the Referral Card |
What is a referral card?
Multiple referral cards come in the Ambassador Kit. Referral cards are given to individual friends/family members (Referrals)
by the Ambassador. The referral card has the Ambassador's 8-digit ID code - the same code that is entered when the Referral qualifies for LASIK and is registered in the office.
This number ties the Referral back to the Ambassador and gives all participants an entry into the sweepstakes. The Referral should have this card with him/her at the time of registration.
What is an RSVP card?
The RSVP card is the plastic card attached to the Referral postcard. It has some sort of offer (usually a free consultation offer) that the Referral can redeem by bringing the card to their consultation.
What if a Referral forgets to bring their cards to their consultation?
If they know their Ambassador's name, you can login to your account and select "Registered Users". You can filter by Ambassador name at the top of the page. Next to the name is the 8-digit code you will need to register the Referral.
What is the 8-digit Ambassador ID?
Each Ambassador kit has a unique 8-digit code. At the time a registration this code and the Ambassador's information are matched up.
The ID should be written on the Overview card for the new Ambassador during registration.
How do Referrals know they are registered?
Emails are sent out identifying the activity during Referral registration stage. They notify the Referral that they have an entry into the sweepstakes.
They also notify the Ambassador that they have received an additional credit in the sweepstakes on behalf of their new Referral.
What if the Referral doesn't have an email address?
It is okay if the Referral doesn't have an email address. They just won't get an official email notifying them of their participation in the sweepstakes.
You can tell them after you submit their information that they are officially registered.
What if the Referral doesn't qualify for LASIK surgery?
Registration by the staff can only occur if Referrals have an in-office consultation and qualify for the procedure.
What if a qualified Referral leaves the office before being registered?
You should register all Referrals before they leave the office. If they get home & realize they haven't bee registered,
they can call your office for registration over the phone. You can also call the Referral & register them over the phone.
Where can the Referral go if they win the travel voucher?
The travel voucher is a $15,000 pre-paid ticket towards a trip of your choosing. For international travel they must have an official passport and be authorized to travel outside the US.
