The more your Ambassador gives, the more everyone receives
Ambassadors can earn multiple entries into the sweepstakes to increase their chances of being drawn. As they share their experience and referral cards with friends and family, they generate Referrals who help them gain multiple entries into the sweepstakes. These Referrals are your new source of potential LASIK patients. Everybody wins.

How to register new Ambassadors – it's easy
You MUST register the new Ambassador in the office via account login online (click here). Follow these basic steps to register new Ambassadors:
   •Recruit a top patient to participate in the program
   •Go online and login to your account (click here)
   •Navigate to your "Ambassador Program" section
   •Click on the "Register New Ambassador" link (1st link on page)
   •Fill out and submit the online form
   •Give the patient their Ambassador kit & write their 8-digit ID on thier overview card
   •Let the patient know they will receive a welcome email immediately and an email every time one of their Referrals qualifies for an eye correction procedure
   •Inform them that each email represents an entry into the sweepstakes
   •Tell them to hand out their referral cards to friends and family who need or show interest in LASIK
   •Tell them that friends & family need to RSVP by phoning, sending in the reply mailer or filling out the online form
   •Tell them to be honest about their results and their experience

When is the best time to register a new Ambassador?
You should register the new ambassador at the height of the post-op wow-factor. This is usually during a follow-up exam after surgery (7-10 day post-op)

What does activation mean and when does it occur?
Registration activates the Ambassador. It starts the tracking process needed for the program to work and for participants to receive credits at the proper time.

What is in the Ambassador Kit?
The kit is given to the Ambassador after registration. It contains all the items he/she will need to hand out to friends and family and earn entries into the sweepstakes.

The kit contains:
   •Welcome letter from the doctor
   •Program overview card
   •Referral cards for friends and family, including benefits of your practice
   •RSVP cards (attached to referral cards)
   •Details and contact information on the program

What is the 8-digit Ambassador ID?
Each Ambassador kit has a unique 8-digit ID number. At the time of registration this code and the Ambassador's information are matched up automatically.

How are sweepstakes entries given out?
By agreeing to participate in the program the Ambassador gets a credit towards a sweepstakes. He/she gains additional credits to the same sweepstakes when qualified Referrals are generated.

How are Ambassadors notified of participation, Referral registrations and additional sweepstakes entries?
Emails are sent out identifying the activity during Referral registration stage. They notify the Ambassador that they have received an additional credit in the sweepstakes. The Ambassador MUST have access to email so that he/she can stay in communication with your office and be notified when Referrals register.

How should an Ambassador distribute the referral cards?
Tell them to pass out the referral cards to friends and family members who are thinking about LASIK or could use an eye correction procedure. Ask them to contact your office and RSVP for a consultation. Make sure to remind Referrals to bring in the referral and RSVP cards (attached to the referral card) for the consultation so they can be registered.

Are there additional ways to win the sweepstakes?
YES! If one of an Ambassador's Referrals is chosen for the sweepstakes, the Ambassador gets a travel voucher as well. Everyone who qualified for the program is tied back to their original Ambassadors, so even if an Ambassador isn't chosen they can still win if one of their Referrals is drawn.

What if friends and family of the Ambassador don't or can't register?
Entries towards the sweepstakes are only given when qualified Referrals are registered. Remind Ambassadors to give out referral cards to individuals they know are interested or could use LASIK surgery. Sharing their positive experience and reminding friends and family about the travel sweepstakes can help motivate as well.

Where can Ambassadors go if the win the travel voucher?
The travel voucher is a $15,000 pre-paid ticket towards a trip of their choosing. For international travel they must have an official passport and be authorized to travel outside the US.

Can an Ambassador get more referral cards if they pass all their cards out?
This is up to you. If the Ambassador has generated a lot of registered Referrals you can give them another Ambassador kit. You will need to RE-REGISTER THE AMBASSADOR by following the Ambassador registration process above. The Ambassador will receive a new 8-digit ID code so that they can be tracked to their new referrals.

How to view all your Ambassadors and see their Referrals and their 8-digit IDs
Follow these basic steps to view and filter your Ambassador database:
   •Go online and login to your account (click here)
   •Navigate to your "Registered Users" section
   •All program participants (Ambassadors, Referrals & Staff Members) are listed on this page
   •Use the filter dropdown (top of page) to select individual Ambassadors, Referral Types & Staff or search for individual Referral names
   •Click "Remove Filter" to see all names again
   •Sort columns by type, Ambassador name, Referral name or Staff name
   •Each Ambassador & Qualified Referral (green icon) entry into this database represents an entry into the sweepstakes
   •Each Referral RSVP (yellow icon) needs to be qualified by a staff member to receive a sweepstakes entry
